Supercross Championship!
Well, the 2018 Supercross Championship has concluded! It was
a tough battle all year with lots of ups and downs but it’s very exciting to
say that Jason Anderson is the 2018 450 Supercross Champ! Following just behind
Anderson in the 250 class is Aaron Plessinger with a total of 211 points
throughout the whole season.
It was a nail-biting season as it was a close call between
the 450 class. Throughout the season we watched as Jason Anderson and Marvin
Musquin battled it out on the track for the championship. Beating Musquin by
just 9 points, Anderson was the one to come out with the championship.
As the 2018 Supercross season has concluded, we now move on
to the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship that will begin at Hangtown
Motocross in Sacramento, California. I plan to visit the 7th Outdoor
National race of the series at Michigan’s own Red Bud National in Buchanan,
Michigan. I am excited to go to the race as it has been almost 5 years since I
had last gone to it.
For those of you who have not been to Red Bud for the Pro
Nationals, I highly recommend going just for the experience. Red Bud is known
for its high-spirited fans and 4th of July celebrations. I will be
there with some fellow motocross friends and hopefully will see some of you
there!

Sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in the country, some of my favorite memories were on the back of a dirt bike or a 4 wheeler! That race in Michigan sounds like a fun time :)
ReplyDeleteI have stumbled upon the occasional motocross race on TV, but never really watched a full race, let alone followed an entire season. How does one get into motocross, are there places that you can go to rent a bike for the day? That could be a lot of fun to do with some friends.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a lot of fun! We went out on ATV before, but this looks like fun. We will have to try it.
